A routine traffic stop Friday night in Byrnes Mill led to a major drug bust in High Ridge.

Byrnes Mill Police Chief Ed Locke said that authorities eventually confiscated around 20 pounds of marijuana and other illegal items from the residence of a 21-year old High Ridge man after officer had pulled him over for a traffic violation.
